The project offers students, teachers and trainers a new perspective on the study of the Shoah and on the civil rights issue through personal re-appreciation, active and participated assessment of archive documents.<\/p>\n<p>Consistently with\u00a0<strong>EU legislation<\/strong>\u00a0prohibiting all forms of discrimination and anti-Semitism, REMEMBR-HOUSE intends to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consider the identity and universal significance of personal and\u00a0<strong>domestic spaces<\/strong>\u00a0to foster\u00a0<strong>civic awareness through empathy<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Preserve the memory<\/strong>\u00a0of the <strong>Shoah <\/strong>and avoid distortions<\/li>\n<li>Encourage reflection on the past to\u00a0<strong>educate<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>European citizens<\/strong>, making them aware of their history, culture and shared values<\/li>\n<li>Promote\u00a0<strong>intercultural dialogue<\/strong>\u00a0and connect local heritage to\u00a0<strong>European memory<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Develop <strong>historical awareness of the Shoah<\/strong>\u00a0by offering\u00a0<strong>training activities<\/strong> based on practical and innovative tools<\/li>\n<li>Create\u00a0<strong>inclusive and multicultural perspectives<\/strong> on the Shoah, emphasising its consequences on various social groups<\/li>\n<li>Encourage individuals to elaborate and reflect on the topic of\u00a0<strong>civil rights<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>European community values<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Support the methodology of historical research and the reflection on sources, thus promoting the\u00a0<strong>archive\u2019s value as a cultural heritage<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n<li>Improve\u00a0<strong>information literacy<\/strong>, especially focussing on the digital world<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2525,"parent":2422,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"100-width.php","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2431","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.3 -
