Following the Italian Ministry’s Guidelines for the teaching of Civic Education (Ministerial Decree n. 35, 22.06.2020) the teaching plan has been finalized in the class meeting, with the relevant competence goals, objectives and expected learning outcomes, teachers may include the REMEMBR-HOUSE Project among their activities.

The project develops knowledge and skills related to the three fundamental thematic units Civic Education teaching (the Italian constitution, national and international law, legality and solidarity; sustainable development, environmental education, knowledge and protection of heritage and territory; digital citizenship) and activates key European competences such as functional literacy; digital competence; personal, social and learning-to-learn competence; social and civic competence in citizenship; competence in cultural awareness and expression. Teachers can use both self standing teaching units and cross-curricular learning units and modules, especially related to history, geography, economics, law and philosophy. REMEMBR-HOUSE also makes use of different methodologies and multidisciplinary teaching strategies, such as cooperative learning, research, tinkering, creative experimentation and storytelling.

The provisions of Ministerial Decree No. 35 similarly include the Provincial Centres for Adult Education.

Thanks to training and project-work activities, REMEBR-HOUSE can be included among the Cross-Curricular Skills and Orientation Pathways for Secondary Schools.
